Project 404 has worked with Gordon Castle since 2011, supporting the estate through more than a decade of growth and digital development. Over that time, we have helped shape and refine the Gordon Castle and Walled Garden websites, adapting them as the estate’s accommodation, visitor experiences, events and commercial activities have expanded.

Our work has supported major developments across the estate, including the growth of the Gordon Castle Highland Games, now a major fixture in the local calendar attracting visitors and competitors from around the world, and the launch of Gordon Castle Gin, which has grown into an internationally recognised brand.

As the estate’s retail offering developed, Project 404 also provided consultancy on the Gordon Castle Scotland online shop, helping shape the structure and customer experience of an e-commerce platform selling gin, gifts, hampers and a growing collection of estate-inspired products.

Across the Castle, Walled Garden, Highland Games and retail business, we have continued to provide website development, maintenance, technical support and digital advice, helping Gordon Castle’s online presence evolve alongside the estate itself. Our work with historic Highland estates also includes projects such as Ballindalloch Castle.
