We also work closely with organisations like Visit Scotland to promote tourism in the Highlands and the northeast of Scotland with projects like the North East 250 tourist route, where we manage the listings of hundreds of tourist sites and hospitality businesses.

Because we manage our own cloud-based web servers and domain registration service exclusively for our clients, we are able to ensure your website runs smoothly. Copywriting Sharron is a working mum who graduated from Birkbeck College, University of London, in 2005 with a BA (Hons) in Humanities. Her favourite things to study there were Literature, Journalism and History of Art. Before becoming a copywriter with Project 404, she ran an orchestra and was a teacher of English, a job she adored. She also creates press releases and other marketing materials for artists.

Aside from writing copy, she is a composer, singer and bass player.

 Tim has been designing, building and consulting on website design since the early days of the internet. Before setting up Project 404, he worked for some of the UK's leading design agencies, working on projects for multinational banks and corporations, government departments and national charities. He now works with award-winning hotels and 5-star accommodation providers, whisky distilleries, working estates and historic houses across Scotland and beyond, and has longstanding relationships with many of his clients. Some of which stretch back over many years.

BALLINDALLOCH DISTILLERY Ballindalloch is Scotland's first single estate distillery and uses barley harvested from its own fields. It is due to release its first whisky in 2023.

We designed and built them a website to promote the new release and to allow visitors to book tours. FIND OUT MORE Gordon Castle Estate and Walled Garden Gordon Castle is a popular tourist attraction. It is home to one of Britain's oldest and largest walled gardens and holds a popular Highland Games and Country Fair, and is the winner of Historic House's prestigious 2021 Garden of the Year award. It also produces its own award-winning gin.

As a long-standing client, we designed, built and manage their websites. FIND OUT MORE BLACKHILLS ESTATE Blackhills is a working estate with farms, guest cottages and a world-famous rhododendron garden.

We were asked to design and build a website that described the working estate and its conservation efforts, detailing the garden with maps and galleries, and allowing online booking of the guest cottages. FIND OUT MORE INVERCAULD ESTATE Invercauld is a 95,000 acre estate located entirely within the Cairngorm Nation Park.

We were asked to create a website to describe the unique work of the estate and show how it cares for the land and the people who live and work on it. FIND OUT MORE BALLINDALLOCH CASTLE AND GARDENS Ballindalloch Castle is one of the finest surviving examples of a Scottish Baronial Castle and welcomes visitors from across the globe.

We built them a website to tell the castle's history and allow visitors to book tickets to tour the castle and gardens. FIND OUT MORE CAWDOR ESTATE AND HOLIDAY COTTAGES One of the great Highland estates with a rich history covering over 700 years, Cawdor is a dynamic organization engaging in a range of commercial, environmental and community-orientated activities.

We have a long-standing relationship with Cawdor, working with them on their estate and holiday cottages websites. FIND OUT MORE MORAY ESTATES Moray Estates is the land-based business of the Earl of Moray. It consists of several separate estates in Moray, Inverness-shire and West Perthshire.

We were asked to create a website to promote its business interests and allow visitors to apply for home and business lets purchase firewood. FIND OUT MORE NORTH EAST 250 The North East 250 is one of Visit Scotland's principal tourist routes. A 250-mile drive taking in the Moray firth, Aberdeen, Deeside and Speyside.

We were tasked with designing, building and managing the website and the listings of the hundreds of business and visitor attractions contained within. FIND OUT MORE NOVAR ESTATE Situated on the north side of Cromarty Firth and stretching from 55m to 700m above sea level, Novar Estate looks towards Alness Bay and the Black Isle.
