Moray Estates
Moray Estates needed a website capable of presenting a large and diverse rural business in a clear and accessible way. Project 404 developed a flexible WordPress site bringing together farming, forestry, property, renewable energy and development projects, while also providing practical information and services for residents, tenants and businesses across the estates.

The Project
Project 404 designed and developed a bespoke WordPress website for Moray Estates, creating a clear and flexible digital platform for a business with an unusually broad range of activities.
The site brings together information on farming, woodland management, renewable energy, fishing, development and estate management, alongside dedicated sections for residential and commercial property lets. It also provides practical information and services for people living and working on the estates, helping residents, tenants and local businesses find the information they need more easily.
Additional services, including firewood sales, estate notices and public information, are incorporated into the site so that it works not only as a corporate presence, but as a practical day-to-day resource for the wider estate community.
Particular attention was given to making a complex organisation easier to understand, with clear navigation across the different areas of the business and dedicated space for news, consultations and long-term estate planning. Similar large-scale estate work includes our website for Invercauld Estate, which also brings together land management, property, tourism and community information within a single platform.
We continue to support the website with ongoing maintenance, updates, content changes and technical support, helping it remain a useful and reliable resource as the estate’s activities continue to evolve.
