Strathearn Eventing
Strathearn Eventing needed a new website that better reflected the quality and range of its facilities while making it easier to manage a busy programme of bookings. Project 404 designed and developed a bespoke WordPress site with an integrated online booking system, allowing riders to select and reserve training sessions more easily while reducing the administrative workload for the business.

The Project
Project 404 designed and developed a new bespoke WordPress website for Strathearn Eventing, creating a clearer and more flexible online presence for one of Scotland’s best-known equestrian training venues.
The site brings together information on the cross-country course, training, livery and schooling, facilities, clinics, competitions and residential camps, making it easier for riders of all levels to understand what is available and plan their visit. Strathearn welcomes around 1,000 riders each year and offers coaching across disciplines including flatwork, show jumping, cross-country and showing.
A key part of the project was the development of an integrated online booking system for cross-country sessions. The system allows riders to choose available time slots and book online, helping Strathearn manage capacity more efficiently while giving customers a simpler, more convenient booking experience. Similar booking-led functionality also forms an important part of projects such as Highland Club Scotland.
We continue to support the site with ongoing maintenance, updates and technical support, helping keep the website and booking system reliable, secure and easy to manage as the business continues to evolve.
